Community Prayer Shawl starts this week
Sept. 1-1pm

     "THE COMMUNITY PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY" group will have their first fall meeting on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, from 1 to 3pm. We shall meet the first and third Wednesday every month from September, 2010 through May, 2011. Membership is open to members of Trinity Church and anyone in the community who likes to knit or crochet. Beginners and experienced members are welcome.

The Veterans Hospital's in the Thumb are in need of lap-robes which they hand deliver to our veterans. If you wish to knit or crochet a lap-robe, the dimensions are 40" X 40".

We are in need of sports weight yarn, and would greatly appreciate any donations.

For further information, contact Sharon Walters or Vi Wydrynski. Bring a friend or neighbor, have a cup of tea and enjoy our group.

 5x52 Plan

At the June mid-year meeting we discussed the fact that our revenue from pledges, collections and fund raisers is falling short of our projected expenses for this year. Someone suggested that we could improve the situation if everyone would contribute an additional $5.00 per week.

The Vestry has considered and enthusiastically endorsed this proposal, now known as the "$5.00 x 52 week plan". You are invited to include an extra $5.00 in your offering each Sunday. Please place it in your green SPECIAL OFFERING  envelope and write "5x52" on the bottom  line (Other) of the envelope. This $5.00 and any additional amount you designate will be credited to the Miracle Fund.

Currently $755.00 has been added to the Miracle Fund totaling $14,568.00.
